CONCLUSION

As I thought, considered and prayed of how to conclude this collection of studies, I was reminded of a passage of Scripture that Paul gave to the Corinthian church. In this passage Paul reminds the church that he, as an expert builder, gave them the perfect foundation for their faith. Specifically, the foundation he laid for them was Jesus Christ and Him crucified. In this same passage of Scripture Paul also cautions the church to be sure to build upon this foundation with doctrines, teachings and beliefs that will be of eternal value to them.

 

1 Corinthians 3:10-11

"[10] By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. [11] For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. "
